You’re least favourite West Ham Managers
1) Sam Allardyce, Cups ear, those Cup games, the Hoof and respecting the point in a drab draw
2) Gianfranco Zola, that Grin…….Even when losing away to Chelsea he was beaming as if he enjoyed it.
3) Glen Roader, How the fuck did we get relegated with that squad?

Others worth a shout, Pellegrini, seemed to take it easy, did he give a shit? Grant, didn’t have a clue! And Macari, what the fuck was that all about?

Say what you like about Allardyce (and I expect you will). BUT he got us promoted at the first attempt with a brilliant day out at Wembley.

For that he cannot be my worst manager, I’ll give that jointly to Roeder, Zola, Grant and Pellegrini.

Re: You’re least favourite West Ham Managers
Whatever the statistics it was the most fun watching West Ham away since either the 2006 cup run (Middlesbrough away at villa Park was fucking awesome) or the two semi finals against Ipswich under Pardww (and who wasn't under Pardww at some point that season)?

Great times in would love to emulate them. A lot of people have discounted West Ham since 1980 but we (the loyal fans) have had some brilliant times since then. It's not all doom and gloom.

Didn’t we create a new record of winning 14 away? The atmosphere at most was fantastic and I felt that we could have won all of them.

2011-12? I reckon we won 13 away unless you count the Playoffs in which case we won 15 away

I totally agree. I only missed two away games that season (Hull and Millwall) and loved going to those God forsaken hell holes, but winning most of them.

Didn’t we create a new record of winning 14 away? The atmosphere at most was fantastic and I felt that we could have won all of them.

Roeder I just felt sorry for plus the first thing my very middle class ex heard on her first visit to Upton Park was an extremely unhappy cockney bloke throwing his program at our then manager shouting 'FUCKING HELL RODENT YOU RAT-FACED FUCKING CUNT' that still makes me laugh to this day.

Re: You’re least favourite West Ham Managers
A mixed bag for me but I loved the Championship away under Allardyce. Turn up in a shitty town, take over all the boozers, take the piss and get the train back to London with 3 points.

Also gave us a day out at Wembley that nearly gave me a heart attack. The feeling of relief when that game ended was one of the most powerful emotions West Ham have ever given me.

So why do I still want to punch the fat cunt every time I see him on telly?

Fuck how did I forget Pellegrini - he takes Zola's space.

Absolute fraud.

Re: You’re least favourite West Ham Managers
Roeder - first relegation in my life time (still blows my mind how we went down with that team)
Grant - second relegation in my life time
Zola - if I had to pick a third.

Hated by most on here but I loved us under twitchy.

Why do the press refer to Fat Sam as the exEngland Manager. He's only managed them for one more game than all of us.

Re: You’re least favourite West Ham Managers
If Billy Bonds hadn't been a club legend would his spell as manager be less fondly remembered? From what I remember we were a bit of a yo-yo club throughout his stint, we didn't play particularly attractive football (before the back pass rule came our tactics seemed to be pass it back to Ludo who then hoofed it up field) and his team was structured mainly around Macari's signings.

Re: You’re least favourite West Ham Managers
I think Uncle Avram takes it for me.

I hated the team he relegated the most which is saying something given that Scotty Parker is one of my all-time favorite players.

The way most of the team threw in the towel by March (there were some exceptions) was about the most disgusting thing I've witnessed with this club, and Matt Upson (the captain of that shower of shit) took the cake.

It was obvious though the board undermined Grant, not least of which was Brady running her fat gob in the papers about us hiring Martin O'neil only for the deal to fall through. That gives me the slightest sliver of sympathy for him.

I respected Allardyce for his ability to stop the owners from putting all and sundry in the papers, even if his football and arrogance were awful.

Anybody who criticises Macari is a mong.

At least "Lou Macari's claret and blue army" was sung many a time. Unlike the run of recent terrible managers
